Caitlin Gutekunst has worked in the field of children’s entertainment for seven years with a special interest in licensing, content delivery and digital brands. She started her career with HIT Entertainment working in home entertainment and licensing on such brands as Thomas & Friends, Barney and Bob the Builder. She later joined Mind Candy to help launch the popular kids’ website and toy brand Moshi Monsters in the US, Canada, and Latin America. Caitlin joined LeapFrog in 2013, and serves as senior manager, licensing and business development. She has a special passion for building and launching new transmedia entertainment brands and safe, kid-targeted services.
Caitlin earned her bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish literature and her master’s degree in writing studies from Saint Joseph’s University. She serves on the board of directors for Women in Toys and is co-chair of the Northern California chapter. She is the recipient of the Licensing & Merchandising Association’s Rising Star Award (2013) and Women in Toys Rising Star Award (2013). In her spare time, Caitlin is an active runner, yacht racer, traveler and musician.
