Christine Elgersma is Senior Editor, Apps and Digital Learning at Common Sense Media, the nation’s largest independent non-profit helping parents, kids and educators navigate the media and technology-rich world. Before joining Common Sense, Chrissy helped cultivate and create an English Language Arts curriculum for a K-12 app, and was an educator who taught at a high school, a community college, as a tutor, and as a special education instructional aide. When she’s not rating and review the best digital media for kids, Christine is writing - primarily fiction and essays - reading, enjoying her daughter and hiking in the beautiful Bay Area.
